CHINA’S FIRST CRAFT CIDER

Our story started with a bit of a riddle. How is it that almost 50% of the world’s apples are grown in China but it’s impossible to get a decent cider. International award winning Brewmaster, Leon Mickelson, decided that the answer was simple: build a craft cidery in a winery, located in a castle, in the middle of one of the largest apple growing regions in the world. Thus…CIDER REPUBLIC was a born. A hand crafted small batch cider, made from the juice of freshly crushed dessert apples…instead of those normal inedible “apples” that go into most commercial cider. What you get is a delicious bright fruity start with each sip followed with a refreshing acidity that keeps you wanting more.

CIDER REPUBLIC is made from 100% Shandong dessert apples giving it a bright and fruity start, similar to biting into a red delicious apple. It’s balanced acidity keeps the palate and the drinker refreshed with a lingering green apple finish.
